  • Collected, queried, and analyzed data from a multitude of sources including SAP, manufacturing centers, and Sales Force. This data was used to develop models for capacity analysis, component failure analysis, Key Performance Indicator selection and management, and inventory optimization.

  • Created dashboards in Python and Excel to provide a range of concise information for multiple business teams. These dashboards included capacity analysis at the product level, component failure and warranty analysis, and early warning of potential stockouts.

  • Performed quantitative analysis of internal/supplier capacities and key competencies to evaluate and determine make/buy decisions.

  • Led the redevelopment of a formerly ineffective MRP system by utilizing the above-mentioned data models.

  • Implemented lean manufacturing practices including Kanban systems which are now used for all routinely made parts.

  • Determined the need for and directed the rationalization of lot sizes, BOMs, and routings resulting in a 40% reduction in work orders and significantly lower setup costs.

  • Led a team of buyer/planners in reducing purchase component cost for the flagship plasma cutting product by 16.5%.

  • Worked in an integrated product team redeveloping the majority of the business unit’s product lines to fit a new market segment and a significantly different business model.

  • Preformed structural design focused on minimizing weld time and material cost as well as fully utilizing in-house capabilities. 

  • Implemented lean manufacturing systems including kitting, poka-yoke, single-piece flow, and manufacturing floor layout to improve process efficiency.

  • Developed, implemented, and managed engineering change management process.
